My Project Demo 1 and piece of thought

Yesterday had a meeting with Cik Hazinah, and I'm kinda realize that actually there's a lot of things I've forgotten. I shall start with my project's modules/parts.
    1.
  1. A Complete Sender-Server-Receiver Program, which includes:
    a) sender exchange his fingerprint signature to server for a token
    b) sender do hashing and Asymmetric encryption
    c) receiver received file, decrypt
    d) receiver request sender's fingerprint from server, to check data's integrity

  2. 2.
  3. Get the time needed for Signed file to send over the network. (does fingerprint signature increases the file size much?)

  4. 3.
  5. Get the time for the whole process in 1. (Overall process time)

  6. 4.
  7. Find something to crack my own fingerprint digital signature. (Test it security level)
Okay... that's roughly about my application. When I've go all the data want, then I have to analyze it in my report. And, seriously, I have been WARNED! To pass up my PSM2 report EARLY this time....

My supervisor and I discussed on what she expects in next Demo:
    1.
  1. No more localhost, but virtual server and another PC, since we need another PC i think department/faculty should let us claimed for another laptop right.... since you cant possibly stay all day long in the Lab, or move the whole Lab's Desktop back into my room. You know... PSM are all midnight's job....

  2. 2.
  3. The whole signing and receiving process is completed with the actual fingerprint device. (ha! talk about device, I didn't destroy the thing! Just have to replace the adapter... My thousand thanks to my Dearest Academic Advisor, En. Bahrim for his time to help me check for the fingerprint device...)
Ah... talked too much.... that's it for now I think. Thanks for whoever reading this. Text are annoying, hence i found a great picture to put up.

This is research....lolz !

p/s: I've mistaken everything!!! My PSM1 got an 'A', its CCNA3&4 B.... hahahahahhaha so noob!

  1. hey, i got something to add.. regarding the local host part, u can actually do it using virtual machine either with virtual box or vmware. i don think tat's important for now as we need to concentrate on the functionality together with the usage of the fingerprint device!!
And ah.. congratulation for not breaking the device! lol.. now we can share the device between us! lol..
    cheer up!!
